Another good idea when it comes to building wordpress site is to have a backup. Again, you can find a plugin that will do this for you and you gave it some information. Depending on the plugin, you can have it email you the files or they can go into the cloud somewhere. Hopefully you will never need to use this backup file but it never hurts to be prepared just in case. Consider adding some sort of spam filter to your wordpress site. Or if your site is going to be something basic such as information about your business, turn off any ability to comment. While interaction on your site can be a good thing, spam is annoying and just slows your site down and will make it look junky.

 If your site is just to advertise your business, there likely is no need for you to have comments enabled. One of the great things when it comes to building wordpress site is the ability to customize it the way you want it to be. You can change pretty much anything to do what you want it to do.
